Can I Monitor My Tracker When Its overseas?

Your tracking device can be monitored in all locations “195 Countries”. Occasionally there may be times when the device cannot get a full signal, but as soon as it does all information will be transmitted back to the monitoring panel, which on average runs 1.8 seconds behind REAL TIME.

You can monitor you tracker from anywhere in the world with an Internet connection via a Smartphone, Tablet, Laptop or Desktop 24hrs a day.

How many Trackers can we monitor?

You can track as all of your GPS tracking devices on one monitoring panel, Log in from multiple computers and you can monitor all devices simultaneously.

How much is the Device Rental?

There are no rental fees, you own the GPS Tracking Device outright. The only fees payable are for Position Credits and SMS Message Credits, these you set up in your monitoring panel to suit your own requirements.

What Are Position Credits?

Position credits track your GPS device when it’s on the move. Every time the tracker moves, it will report back to the monitoring panel its new location. You can control how often the device reports it’s location back to you, via your monitoring panel admin. Reporting times ranging from every 5 Seconds up to an hour are available to be set.

Journey example: if you set the tracking device to report its location every minute across a one-hour journey, it would use 60 Position credits. This would enable you to view all of the activities of the tracked item on the route, including where it stopped and for how long.

The tracker will use a position credit each time it reports back to the monitoring control panel with it’s new location. Access to your monitoring panel is by a secure pin number, you can view anytime on a Smartphone, Tablet, Laptop or Desktop.

What Are SMS Credits?

SMS Credits are used when your GPS tracker sends you a text alert message informing you your tracked item has moved (if set in control panel). SMS Credits are also used when you change position update times in your monitoring control panel admin.

Example; vehicle is being broken into, or the item starts to move away from it set location or when it moves into a set area (if set in control panel).

An SMS credit will also be used when you change the reporting times of your GPS device, so if you had it set at every 10 minutes and moved the reporting time to every 30 minutes, one SMS Credit would be used, as a text message would be sent to you reporting this change. Trojan GPS Tracker clients will find Position credits are used more frequently than SMS credits. Please set up options required in your control panel.

I am not very technical so do I need an engineer to fit the Tracker?

Even though you are not very technical, you will be able to fit the tracking device yourself. Our magnetic devices simply need placing on a metal surface; our covert trackers have eyelets you can use to fit with screws bolts or even duct tape.

Fixed vehicle trackers need to be connected to a battery source by earth and live connections. Most people would find this easy to accomplish.

How often do I have To Charge The Tracking Device?

Your tracker monitoring panel shows you at all times the condition of the charge left in the battery of the GPS Device. You will find the charge lasts for a long time, this can also be set up in the monitoring panel for ‘save battery mode’ to further enhance longevity.

To recharge the device simply remove from its location and place on the charging mat we supplied with the device, when charged relocate to the item you are tracking. Personal trackers are charged much like a normal mobile telephone.
